Preziosa coppia di bambole spagnole tipo Lenci create dalla ditta Pages Matarin negli anni 30 (alcune versioni meno dettagliate risalgono agli anni 40). Hanno il viso modellato con labbra carnose ed occhi dipinti, capelli in mohair o seta, mani con dita separate, corpi con imbottitura rigida, braccia e gambe articolate, costumi tipici molto elaborati. La bimba indossa zoccoli in cartapesta. Le bambole singole sono piuttosto rare, in quanto il fabbricante produceva soprattutto bambole doppie.
Precious couple of Lenci type Spanish dolls created by Pages Matarin factory in the 30s (some less detailed lines were produced later during the 40s). They have cloth moulded head with red painted mouth and side glancing eyes, mohair or silk hair, hands with separate fingers, hard stuffed body, articulated limbs, typical regional costumes. The female wears papier-mache clogs. Single dolls are quite rare as this Spanish factory was used to produce a line of topsy turvy doll.
